James Sullivan is a classically trained pianist & self taught guitarist. He originally began developing his piano style around the age of 16 after becoming disillusioned with the teaching style of the classical world. Using his classical training and influences from film score composers, he developed his own distinctive piano style.

Using his father’s keyboard he realised he had a flair for arrangement which is prominent on the instrumental tracks. He has also written dozens of songs, earlier on with Francis Comerford and later with Ross Kearley. He has chosen the best of these songs & instrumentals for inclusion on his debut album.
